Again, apologies that I've been away for a number of days. Our area was hit with one heck of a storm last week. The National Weather Service confirmed 5 tornadoes embedded within the storm, along with powerful straight line winds. The greater Appleton area was without power for several days. We were without power for 28 hours, so I was unable to sew, access the internet, etc. There is a lot of damage and cleanup will continue for quite some time. Here is a photo of some of the tree and power line damage in our town:
I'm happy to report, though, that we as a community, are on the mend. I've been back to the sewing machine and have finished Stars and Bars and Stars and Bars II. Here I'll let the pictures do the talking for me.

Sorry to hear about your storm damage. we had a similar storm a few weeks ago, also no power phone or internet. Our area is still cleaning up. Your town and mine will recover, thankfully.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Progress is being made, ever so slowly. There are still just piles of branches along the roadside just waiting to be picked up. Power has been fully restored here, and life is going on.
